Among all different people in the world, from all multi-ethnicities of our Brazil, we found ourselves connected with similar passions and desires. Our invisible bond with nordic culture, as well as being unusual, was totally unexpected. Two very much brazilian people, from North to South. If there is any connection with the north of the planet, it came from other lives. And in how many other lives have our souls met?

We needed to go. So we did. The feeling of belonging was something unusual, the tones of our skin and hair denounced that our body didn't belong there, but what about our hearts? At every corner, a desire to stay. It was nostalgia without actually being.

When we came up with the idea for this editorial, the whole thing was around our deepest desire to rescue the origin of our personal bonds. Nature, the north, Scandinavia. So it actually was the most nonsense thing ever. Seriously. This whole nordic thing only makes sense for both of us. And how lucky we are to have found a couple more crazy people who boarded our Viking boat. :)

The Swedish sun, the green forests, a fairy bride, two Thralls and an imaginary bow with Vikings and Celts. A heartfelt thanks to Sussie Mellstedt, our fairy bride, who was totally in all the crazy ideas of two Brazilians who think they have something to do with Vikings.

De todas as pessoas diferentes do mundo, de todas as multi-etnias do nosso Brasil, a gente foi se encontrar com paixões e anseios tão similares. Nosso laço invisível com a cultura nórdica além de incomum, era totalmente inesperado. Uma maranhense e um carioca. Filho de americano, neta de portugueses. Se há alguma conexão com o norte do planeta, ela veio de outras vidas. E em quantas outras vidas nossas almas já se encontraram?

Nós precisávamos ir. Fomos. O sentimento de pertence era algo incomum, os tons da nossa pele e do nosso cabelo denunciavam que nosso corpo não era de lá, mas o que se faz do coração? A cada esquina, uma vontade de ficar. Era uma nostalgia sem ser.

Quando desenhamos a ideia desse editorial, ele nasceu da nossa mais profunda vontade de resgatar a origem dos nossos laços. A natureza, o norte, a Escandinávia. Era a mais absoluta falta de noção. Sério. Esse papo todo só faz sentido, na real, pra nós dois. E que sorte foi que encontramos mais alguns malucos que embarcaram no nosso barco viking. :)

O sol da Suécia, o verde das florestas, uma noiva fada, dois Thralls e um laço imaginário com vikings e celtas. Um imenso agradecimento de coração a Sussie Mellstedt, nossa noiva fada, que topou todas as ideias malucas de dois brasileiros que se acham vikings.
